CrossFit Training Begins
If you have never heard of CrossFit ? It is a program that challenges (no kidding) you to break out of your exercise routine and really challenge yourself.
CrossFit works the body as a whole. CrossFit founder Gregg Glassman has a philosophy to build a 'broad ,general, and inclusive fitness. CrossFit encourages proficient movement patterns with relatively high intensity.
My first class was a surprise, it was filled with normal people. I had a fear I would be working out in a room full of supermodels, instead those in the class were like me. just wanting to get in better shape and doing it with a room full of class members/ supporters.
The key to CrossFit is intensity. Yes, when I left class ( an hour long) I was a bit shaky, so I went home took a hot shower, popped a couple of ibuprofen and woke up this morning feeling great and no soreness.
I noticed that the CrossFit classmates make it feel like family helping each other to push on during the workout. It was really amazing, can't wait to go back.
