East Lansing’s Cat Cafe is Moving to Old Town
Some adorable, furry, and four-legged friends are in need of some help.
East Lansing Cat Cafe Moving
Have you ever heard of the Constellation Cat Cafe? It's a cat cafe in East Lansing. And it's just what it sounds like: a place that has cats and cafe items. But it's so much more than that too.
It's a place where you can spend some time playing and cuddling with cats and kittens, it's a place where you can celebrate a birthday, or even take part in one of their fun events, and more. And because there is so much going on at the Constellation Cat Cafe, they're looking to upgrade to a larger, permanent space.
Enter the old Su Casa Jewelers building in Old Town Lansing.
The Constellation Cat Cafe made a post on their Facebook page with the big announcement. They had outgrown their current digs and are looking to set up shop in a bigger spot.
Cat Cafe Coming to Old Town Lansing
They put in an offer at Su Casa, which is contingent on financing coming through. Additionally, they need to meet a down payment of $26,500. That's why they are reaching out to the community for help. If you like cats and have the ability, you may consider giving to this charitable organization (yes, it's an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization).
If they are able to close on this space, they won't be moving for a little while still, as they'll need to wait on some construction to be done to Su Casa first before they can move in. Until then, they'll be open in some capacity at the Lake Lansing location.
