Have you played the lotto and actually won while we've been on lockdown in Michigan? As a self-admitted impatient person I couldn't even imagine how antsy I would be to claim my money. Thankfully, beginning Monday you'll now be able to do that.

The Michigan Lottery says that all of their claim centers will be open beginning June 15, but by appointment only to minimize health risk. During appointments, employees will be required to wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and frequently disinfect surfaces. There will also be a plexiglass at the counter.

When you show up for your appointment you're asked to wait in your car until your appointment time to avoid crowding, you must wear a face mask, and no guests will be allowed to enter the building with you. A maximum of 10 prizes can be claimed per person per appointment.

To schedule an appointment to claim your prize(s), call 1-844-917-6325. Claim centers are in the following locations: Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Livonia, Saginaw, and Sterling Heights. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday special appointment times (7:45a-9:45a) will be dedicated to people over 60, pregnant woman, and those with chronic health conditions.

Players are still allowed to mail their claims or drop it off outside of a center if you don't feel comfortable going into one yet. You can get more info regarding that and the steps to take here.

If you're feeling lucky, the next Michigan Mega Millions drawing is on Tuesday night and the jackpot is up to $22 million.
