It seems that another cool Michigan curiosity closed thanks to events in the past few years. Swell.

Does anyone know the status of this place? It closed, then was put up for sale looking for a new owner, with many locals and tourists hoping it would be open for summer 2022. Did anyone buy it yet? Hope it opens again, 'cause it's a very cool place to visit.

This place had good food in a classic 1950's diner, Coca-Cola memorabilia and a bottle cap museum all wrapped up into one fun place to stop.

Dawson & Stevens Classic 50's Diner, was/is located at 231 Michigan Avenue in Grayling and had one of the largest collection of Coca-Cola collectibles in the country. Not only that, but you could gaze in awe at the bottle cap museum at the same time.

There were over 10,000 Coke items to soak in with an authentic 1950's soda fountain.....if you bought a Coke you'd get a free refill. And they served Michigan-made ice cream!

Burgers, fries, dogs...all the food that made the 1950's great!
Now closed.
Again, if anyone knows the current status if they are open yet - or soon -  let us know!

Take a look at their website and see what we're all missing.
