If there's one thing in the fall that I absolutely hate doing, it's raking leaves and bagging them. By the time my family and I finish raking all leaves, meaning front, side, and our back yard too, we probably have 30 to 40 bags of leaves to haul out front for pick up.

According to WILX, the City of Jackson is considering ditching bagged leaf pickup and reinstating traditional leaf pickup.

If this is approved, people would sweep leaves to the curb instead of bagging them. And by the way, if this happens, I'm moving to Jackson!

Jackson used to have the curbside leaf pickup but it was cut in 2013 after a court ruled the tax for the program was illegal.

I love this whole concept, rake the leaves to the curb and no more bagging wet or dry leaves. Good luck Jackson, we're counting on you!
