A regular "holiday" for Michiganders is getting a makeover this year in light of recent events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every year, marking the beginning of spring and dreaming of summer, Bell's Brewery re-releases its fan favorite, Oberon, for "Oberon Day."

According to MLive, it's a day where many bars and restaurants celebrate tapping the first kegs of the year of the Michigan beer-lovers' delicacy but with recent events and recent shutdowns of bars and restaurants, Bell's had to get creative.

So, tomorrow (March 23rd) get ready to celebrate with a "virtual toast."

Monday evening, at 6 p.m., you can log on to the Bell's website for the live stream where everyone can toast together from the safety of their social distancing quarters.

According to Bell's website, "A bunch of Bell’s employees will be on chatting and there will be a special, live, video message" as well.

You will still be able to purchase Oberon in stores, so just make sure to wash your hands, take proper precautions and stay at least six feet away from other beer lovers when picking up a pack in preparation for the toast!
