Candle Light Vigil Honors 3 Lost Lives
Friends and loved ones of a Lansing family who tragically lost three young boys in a fatal early morning house fire will gather tonight for a candlelight vigil.
The three boys who lost their lives are 3-year-old Manolo, Ramiro who was 5 and Juan who was 8 years old. The Zavala family also had a 31 year old man taken to the U of M Hospital in serious condition, however his condition has since been upgraded. He is the father of a 5-year-old girl who remains in critical condition. The children's mother, Alyssa Wallace, was also taken to the hospital and has been released.
A crowdfunding page has been started for the family. All are welcome at the vigil tonight and are encouraged to bring candles. The vigil is at 7PM tonight at 2007 New York Avenue on the city's north side.
