Burning Bans Now in Effect for Three Michigan Counties
According to the Lansing State Journal, dry conditions are prompting burning bans across the Lansing region, and it appears relief isn't coming until this weekend at the earliest.
A burn ban in Meridian Township was issued Tuesday and covers everything from recreational fire pits to fireworks.
Conditions for open burning have been in a steady decline since well before the 4th of July holiday due to the minimal amount of rain and hot conditions we've been seeing this summer.
Burning bans are now in effect for much of Ingham, Clinton and Eaton counties. Please click on the above link for more information.
