Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill Celebrates 75 Years on National Doughnut Day
Doughnuts make the world go round!
Lucky for us, tomorrow is National Doughnut Day and one of my favorite places is serving up free doughnuts in several locations.
Where are the free doughnuts?
Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill will be handing out their signature cider mill doughnuts all day long at their locations in Armada and Almont.
They'll also have their free doughnuts available in a few other locations Friday and Saturday.
Friday at the Bakehouse46 stores in Birmingham and Rochester.
If Friday doesn't work for you, scoop up some free doughnuts on Saturday from noon - 3 p.m. at Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace stores on Hall Road and Clinton Township or Randazzo Fresh Market on Hayes Road or Macomb.
Celebrating 75 years of Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill
The fun doesn't stop on National Doughnut Day! Blake's in Armada is celebrating their 75th anniversary and not only do they have special events and giveaways all weekend long, but they're releasing their Apple Pie Hard Cider!
The new hard cider has hints of cinnamon and vanilla and will be available in store this weekend.
You can read more on the cider at the Detroit Free Press' website.
Events at Blake's this weekend
Admission for Blake's Funland is only $7.50 this weekend. However, if you go on Friday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. it's free! Enjoy unlimited train rides throughout the orchard and $5 pony rides.
Live music will be playing in the Orchard Square and there will be a fireworks display Saturday night.
You can find more information on Blake's 75th Anniversary here.
The cider mill is located at 17985 Armada Center Road.
