Where's your favorite ice cream spot in Greater Lansing?  I have a few favorites including Baskin Robbins, Quality Dairy, Moo-Ville Creamery in Eaton Rapids, and Tasty Twist in East Lansing.

I can never get enough ice cream because I absolutely love it.  So many different flavors and so many different ways to make it.  My favorite ice cream treat is a hot fudge sundae covered in lots and lots of chocolate.  It's the best!

Speaking of one of the best, did you hear that the MSU Dairy Store will not reopen until this fall?  It's true, the MSU Dairy Store will reopen when students return to campus.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

While you wait, there are plenty of ice cream spots throughout Greater Lansing worth visiting this summer.

Here are a few of my favorites from the LSJ article that I really like:

1.  Baskin Robbins.  Love this ice cream spot for two reasons.  It's only five minutes from where I live and they have a great selection of ice cream flavors.  I always get double dip chocolate chip in a waffle cone.  Sometimes I mix butter pecan with chocolate chip too.

2.  Quality Dairy.  We have a Quality Dairy store less than one minute away from where my wife and I live.  We usually walk to Q.D. to get ice cream once a week.  Quality Dairy has over two dozen flavors to choose from.  It's worth the walk.

3.  The Daily Scoop Ice Cream Shoppe.  Located right in the heart of downtown Mason on S. Jefferson Street.  This is a very popular ice cream spot.  It's about twenty minutes away from where I live but worth the drive. They serve chocolate truffles and a fudge swirl that is simply delicious.
