Around 20 People Firing Guns in a Grand Rapids Park
Something has to be done about this out-of-control gun problem we have right here in the United States.
Let's just be honest, it's slowly getting to the point where you have to watch your own back when he comes to being safe these days.
Every time you turn on the local news or even the national news, we're hearing about another shooting, or mass shootings, and even younger children in the news wielding guns and using them.
Did you hear about 20 people firing guns in a park in Grand Rapids on June 12? And the worst part was three people were injured because of this careless stupidity.
According to mlive.com:
Police responded to the Sixth Street park in the 700 block of Monroe Avenue NW, about 3:55 a.m. on a report of shots fired. Sixth Street park is located along Grand River, just north of the I-96 bridge over the water.
Grand Rapids police found over 100 shell casings during the investigation of Saturday's incident.
Of the three that were injured during this senseless shooting. Only one of them ended up in critical condition at a Grand Rapids hospital.
This gun issue is just so out of control and nothing is being done about it. I'm almost afraid to read the newspaper or watch daily news in fear of seeing more gun violence.
The most difficult thing to figure out is why? Why do so many with hand guns or rifles take life for granted. It's like human compassion has gone by the wayside and people think it's okay to harm others with dangerous weapons.
In Grand Rapids, they have no clue and no leads as to who was involved in this most recent park shooting.
"With as many people as were involved, or nearby, all of these incidents, someone knows something. Someone saw something. Someone recorded something," he said in a written statement.
This is a scary world we live in and we all hope something will be done about these violent shootings taking place way too often.
