What would you do if you were working at the Dollar Tree and then all of a sudden, the Dollar Tree manager decides to quit right on the spot?

That's exactly what happened at the Ann Arbor Dollar Tree location. The manager quit and then left a big note on the door that reads:

Store Closed until further notice. I've Quit, I'm sorry, the only manager.

According to mlive.com:

The store is located at 325 N. Maple Road. A second sign notifies customers the location's hours are frequently changing due to "factors like Truck Day and being short staffed."

Well at least the manager was nice enough to leave a note on the front door of the store.

If I had to take a guess, I'm sure that it's not a happy place to work at in the first place. They don't have enough employees working at that particular Dollar Tree location and I'm pretty sure the manager that quit obviously isn't too happy there.

If there's one thing you should never tolerate in life, it's unhappiness at work. You should at least be able to go to work on a daily basis and feel good about your company and what you can do as a valuable employee.

Who knows how long this particular Dollar Tree location will be closed. If the manager quits, then the captain has left the building for something better.

Mlive.com adds:

Dollar Tree has two locations in Ann Arbor and three in the Ypsilanti area. The company, known for pricing nearly everything at $1 or less, announced in November it would be rolling out a permanent price increase for the first time in 35 years. Dollar Tree cited the rising cost of goods and store operations as the reason for the increase.
