YES, the moment we've all been patiently waiting for.  The chance to go to weddings, outdoor events, concerts, Lugnuts games at Jackson Field, Detroit Tigers baseball games, MSU football games in the fall and so much more.

We are certainly heading in that direction and it's been a long time coming.  This past year or so has taken a toll on many Michiganders, and now it's time to take a breath of fresh air and start enjoying life's simple pleasures.

Here's a quote from the Lansing State Journal:

"That means that an indoor gathering like a wedding or a funeral or a conference or graduation will be allowed to resume at 50% capacity through the month of June," said Whitmer, who made the announcement from home plate of Dow Diamond, a minor league ballpark in Midland.  "People who are fully vaccinated are required to continue to mask up when they are indoors.

For people who have not been vaccinated as of yet, they will have to continue to wear masks indoors.

This is very exciting for people who are fully vaccinated at this time.  All I want to do is go to a Detroit Tigers baseball game at Comerica Park and attend the Genesis concert at Little Caesars Arena on November 29.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer tells us in the Lansing State Journal:

"After a year of living with COVID, with masks and distancing and hand washing, I know how jarring any change to our daily lives feels in this time of transition," Whitmer said. "I'm asking that people extend one another a little bit of grace as we return to normal."
