Maybe it’s good sometimes that we aren’t given addresses or locations of abandoned places. It avoids trespassers, vandals, and looters, for sure.

This is one where the location was not unveiled, but it was too interesting not to show you.

The gallery below features images of an abandoned church camp, somewhere in Michigan, surrounded by forestry. The videographer states that the camp originated almost 100 years ago, sometime during the first half of the 1900s.

After decades of operation and giving kids something to do during summertime, the camp closed in the early 2000s. The camp and surrounding land were sold, and the future of the property remains unknown.

I went to church camp back in the 1960s, and I’m wondering if this is the one I went to...I have no clue, but I remember the nightly campfires and fun we all had.
