3 Suspects in Ionia Have Lost Their Marbles

According to WILX-TV 10, police caught three vandals who shot up vehicles and houses with a slingshot and marbles last week in southern Ionia County and northern Barry County.

The investigation revealed that a person or persons were utilizing a slingshot type of device to fling marbles at objects with the sole intention to cause damage.

Investigators found video of three young males buying marbles at a store, and a deputy recognized one of them from previous encounters.

Police found the slingshot, marbles and additional evidence at a home in Saranac.  Michigan State police and Lake Odessa police helped in the investigation.
