It breaks my heart to think that some of the priceless art at the Detroit Institute of Art, could be sold into private collections and no longer seen in public. WILX channel 10 reports that the DIA's collection could once again be used to help pay off creditors in Detroit's bankruptcy.   I grew up going to the DIA and the other museums in Detroit, those were such rich experiences.  If you don't think it would effect you, I implore you to go!  Check out Diego Rivera's incredible mural, stand before paintings that have lasted for over 800 years and find yourself wandering the halls discovering art.  The DIA is a shining jewel in what has become of Detroit and should stay!
