Theatres are in full swing with “A Shot in the Dark” at Riverwalk Theatre starring Channel 6 anchor Evan Pinsonnault. The Williamston theatre opens “Frankie and Johnny in the Clair De Lune” and The Gershwins’ “Porgy and Bess” at the Wharton Center.
Tonight at the Avenue there is a fundraiser for East Lansing’s “Summer Solstice Jazz Festival” with an all female line-up that includes Betty Joplin and Twyla Birdsong.

The MSU Museums “Wine Tasting” party is tonight at the Kellogg Center
Saturday is the “Dig the Past: a hands on intro to Archaeology at the MSU Museum
You can “Skate for Ele’s Place” at Munn Ice Arena and celebrate the “Maple Moon” with a campfire at the Harris Nature Center.
As for Basketball The High School Boys Basketball Tournament is this weekend at the Breslin Center and MSU moving up in the NCAA Tournament or 2 this weekend
