Summer's not over yet and that means the weather is practically perfect to head to the new Grand Ledge water park.

A grand opening event for a new splash pad at Jaycee Park took place earlier today with a ribbon cutting ceremony .

According to WILX-TV 10, the 2,000 square foot splash pad has 19 water sprays within different spray zones allowing visitors to choose how much they are sprayed.

The splash pad is universally accessible, making it the first amenity of this kind in all of the City's 13 parks and open spaces.  Visitors can play in the water seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
