Told ya I’d be visiting again. The old Gibson guitar factory in Kalamazoo, this time you can see the smokestack which still carries the ‘Gibson’ name. Orville Gibson founded the company in 1902 as “The Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co., Ltd.”
After 1974, Gibson (sadly) moved production to Nashville, Tennessee. The factory name in Kalamazoo was then changed to ‘Heritage Guitars.’
