A drive thru at a funeral home opened in Saginaw recently.  They say it's for people who are unable to or uncomfortable  going in to the Funeral home.  According to Mlive Paradise Funeral Chapel allows you to drive up while a curtain opens and music plays you can pay your last respects drop off memory items and sign the guest book.  The concept isn't new, there are a few around the country but for Paradise it became important when an elderly woman in a nursing home couldn't get in to see her husband or attend his funeral.  With the drive thru she would have been able to.  Sometimes I think our drive thru life styles go a little too far, but maybe this is how everyone has a chance to say goodbye.  Would you use the drive up window at a Funeral home?
