Making Up Snow Days May Have Just Gotten Easier
Is extending the school year to make up snow days causing havoc with you daycare or vacation plans? MLive says that Governor Snyder signed a revised school funding measure that will give schools that have 1098 school hours already scheduled a chance to end school on the original date. The Measure gives districts a chance to hold school for only 174 days if they were already scheduled for more than that. A brutal winter has caused many schools to use more than their alotted snow days.
