Ludington Michigan is a Travel Hot Spot

Travelers are feeling the love for Ludington.  The Lake Michigan city just named one of 32 vacation hot spots by FlipKey, a vacation rental web site owned by TripAdvisor.

Flipkey says interest in Ludington was up 500 percent from the first half of 2014 compared to the same period in 2015.

Ludington has miles of beach, including those in Ludington State Park, voted Michigan's best by Lansing State Journal readers in 2014.

The tourist season continues year round with fall color about to hit and popular winter events such as a New Year's Eve ball drop downtown and a January beer festival.
