Local Dish Customers Could Lose Another Local TV Station
I personally have been a Dish Customer for at least ten years, now they're saying Dish customers could lose our local CBS affiliate WLNS-TV 6. Three months after losing access to ABC, now we might lose WLNS by this Thursday.
DISH Network's contract to carry WLNS expires on Thursday. The two companies have yet to reach an agreement after six weeks of contract extensions.
If the companies doesn't reach an agreement by Thursday, DISH can no longer carry the station.
So now at home, my family can't watch Dancing with the Stars on ABC 53, and now there's a chance we won't be able to watch any TV 6 programming as well. As far as I'm concerned, I'm fed up with all of this nonsense. We're the paying customers and we shouldn't have to deal with any of these contract disputes.
If WLNS is cut from DISH programming along with ABC 53, then many will switch to another pay TV provider, including me!!
