The former site of a mobile home park that was condemned three years ago and considered a neighborhood liability is looking more like an asset these days.

Crews hired by the city completed demolition of Life O'Riley mobile home park at 6726 S. Washington earlier this month.

Life O'Riley was shut down by the Ingham County Health Department three years ago for health and safety violations.

The demolition work, especially removal of 80 trailers, has already made a difference according to Steve Ramey, owner of Chisholm Hills Golf Club, which sits directly south of the property.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
