According to the Lansing State Journal, a warm, wet week is in store for Lansing and the rest of south-central Michigan, with flooding the likely result.

The region could get 1 to 3 inches of rain today through Wednesday, with temperatures climbing into the low 60's by Tuesday.

A flood watch is in effect for much of southern lower Michigan.  Flash flooding is unlikely because the rain will fall over a three day period.

Flood warnings are already in effect for Sycamore Creek at Holt, Red Cedar River at East Lansing, Looking Glass River near Eagle and the Maple River at Maple Rapids.
