East Lansing’s “Pigs Vs. Freaks” Football Game
According to the video description on taoslandandfilm.com:
"East Lansing, Michigan, the home of Michigan State University, had a history in the 1960's of violence between police and college protesters. Then one day, two police officers tried to kick some college students off of a high school football field, only to find themselves face to face with a challenge; settle the dispute with a friendly game of football!"
Do any of you remember this?
Did you attend?
Were you one of the players?
It's an interesting sidestory titled "The Pigs Vs. The Freaks" - not a nice term for EITHER side. This clip is a teaser of a documentary about the "Bull Bowl" that is available on DVD.
Let's see how many of you are familiar with this incident/event!
