In an effort to save more lives, the Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) is hosting its 3rd Annual Woofstock Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, June 21. CAHS will be open to the public and offer adoption specials and activities from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Woofstock will be a fun day filled with a ton of activities! We invite our community to come in and enjoy music, food, and visit with the many great pets we have awaiting a new home,” said Julia Palmer-Willson, President and CEO.

The Woofstock event will include activities such as:
• Extended adoption hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (regular hours are 12-5 p.m.)
• Adoption specials, including $9 adult cats, and 50% off the adoption fee of kittens, adult dogs, rabbits, and rodents
• Live music, featuring Lansing’s own, UnTaMeD
• Bake sale
• Garage sale
• Hungry Howie’s pizza truck
• 1-mile alumni recognition walk on the CAHS 65-acre property at 11 a.m.
• Other fun activities to be announced
