Easter Egg Hunts and Microbrews, Another Beautiful Weekend in Greater Lansing

Another weekend is upon us and luck would have it, it's going to be fantastic, with highs in the upper 50's on Saturday and near 70 on Sunday!

As usual there's lots to do.  At the movies "Transcendence" opens starring Johnny Depp, "A Haunted House 2" with Marlon Wayans and "Bears"

"Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune" continues at Williamston Theatre

Butterfiles are Free at the the MSU 4-h indoor Childrens Garden, while your there check out the outside Childrens Garden too.  Also for the kids, the Lansing Jaycees annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Capital Lawn.

Festivals include the "Latin is America" Festival and the Lansing Microbrew and Music Festival where 100% of Net Alcohol sales will go to the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Xero Waste Events.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend to check out some of our local gems like our nature centers.  Fenner Nature Center has an Earth Day Extravaganza Saturday from 7-3pm and the trails are open from dawn to dusk at the Harris Nature Center and at Woldumar Nature Center.  The Potter Park Zoo is open and you can walk or ride our River Trail
