ROADSIDE MICHIGAN: Chillermania!

I took a little Michigan roadtrip of my own over the weekend and visited Chillermania!, the headquarters of Johnathan Rand, author of the "American Chillers" and "Michigan Chillers" books. It's located just above Indian River, off I-75 about a half mile off exit 313.

Here's a shot of the front of the store; inside is chock-full of his books. The most fun ones are the books written about fictional occurrences in well-known Michigan towns and cities. plenty of reading material for the kids and a nice handful of adult chiller fiction as well.

This is almost like a "where's Waldo" shot...you can spot me, right? This is his barn/workshop right next to the store.

Chillermania! is a cool stop for you to make on yer next Michigan roadtrip...and more than likely you'll meet the author as well...he was there when I stopped.
