Another Hotel Could Be Headed for Downtown Lansing

According to the Lansing State Journal, whether it's a boutique or a Hilton, another hotel is headed for downtown Lansing if the developers eyeing Lansing's City Hall get their way.

Four developers publicly unveiled proposals for redeveloping the site across from the Capitol on Wednesday night at the Lansing Center.

They proposed spaces for apartments, spas, restaurants and retail.  "Economically it's huge," Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero said.  "Whatever the proposal, it's going to bring new people into the downtown either to live or to visit.
