Active Date Ideas for Valentine’s Day

It's time to get active on Valentine's Day!  If you're tired of dinner and a movie, then it's time to get out and get moving.

Here are a few active date ideas in the Lansing area to choose from:

Learn how to ballroom dance from professional competitors at the MSU Broad Art Museum this Friday at 6 p.m.  Cost is $35 per person and includes food, two drink tickets, a giveaway and a demonstration.   Purchase tickets at the door.

Treat your date to a game of laser tag at Spare Time Entertainment in Lansing.  Spare Time offers a Valentine's special this weekend with pizza and two games of laser tag.

Go cross country skiing or snowboarding.  For family friendly outdoor fun, come by Lansing Loves Winter at Burchfield for free ski lessons for kids and adults this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Go ice fishing.  Meridian Township is hosting its free annual ice fishing derby for youth ages 5-16 from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Central Park pond in the Meridian Historical Village.
