There are plenty of abandoned, deserted radio towers throughout the state of Michigan, but it seems like we really don’t hear about them that often. Well, this time you will.

This is an old de-commissioned radio tower just outside of the town of Clinton in Lenawee County. The empty shed and the base of the tower are both encased in weeds and brush, with an old gate bent open where somebody entered.

Whether or not the building was the actual broadcast station is unknown, but hopefully somebody reading this has the info and will let us know in the comments.

Not only do the photos in the gallery below show you around the tower and its height, but also views from the top.....rich farmland as far as you can see. The videographer had the moxie to climb all the way up this creaky tower’s unsure metal steps and sit at the top. Once up there, he recorded some cool images of the landscape, as he dangled his feet off the side. No, no, no, not me, man...I’m not fond of heights.

I would like to know the name of the tower, its numbers, and call letters, so if anyone knows, clue me in. Meantime, take a look at the few photos below of this lonely, dormant radio tower, which once upon a time may have been a powerhouse.
