The 86th Academy Awards hosted by Ellen DeGeneres drew 43 million viewers during the Oscar awards show. Best picture went to "12 Years a Slave", seven awards went to "Gravity." Ellen has now hosted the Oscars twice. Not only is Ellen one of our favorite hosts, we all remember when Billy Crystal hosted the Academy awards back in 2004. That's when 43.6 million tuned in to see The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King win best picture. The record high for the Oscars was set in 1998, when 55.2 million saw Titanic take the top prize. Ellen really put on a show of her own Sunday night at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre.
