Worlds Oldest Cat Celebrates 31st Birthday

A cute little Tabby cat, who is believed to be the worlds oldest cat, just celebrated his 31st birthday...By the way 31 in cat years is equivalent of 141 in human years.

The cats name is Nutmeg and he choose his humans, he just showed up in their backyard some 26 years ago.   liz and Ian Finlay took the cat to the Vet and they were told he was about 5 years old.

Last year Nutmeg suffered from a very serious stroke, but the good news is that he is up and growing stronger, making many  wonder how many lives this feline has.

Nutmeg's parents stress that he is not their cat, they are HIS humans and he never lets them forget that.  They say maybe that is the secret to his long life.
