Winter Weather Heading Our Way

It seems like we went right from summer into the  cold, and didn't have much of a fall season.

Our area is under a Winter Weather Advisory,   The advisory goes into effect at 1am Friday morning and continues until 7pm Friday night.  Snow is expected. anywhere from 1 to 3 inches is possible.

Plan on slippery road conditions.  The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and/or the evening commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.   Expect snow covered roads as well as limited visibilities and drivers are being urged to use caution while behind the wheel.

Something to keep in mind, this will be the first snow fall of the season, and that always means that many drivers have totally forgotten how to drive on snow covered roadways.
