Is This the Only Wimpy Burger in Michigan?

There used to be a number of Wimpy Burgers in Michigan but it seems there’s only one left. This Wimpy Burger is located at 26128 Gibraltar Rd in Flat Rock.

What’s so special about Wimpy Burger other than its name? The atmosphere and the food, of course! Burgers, wings, chili dogs, fries, shakes, tacos, etc…but the burger menu is what to seek out.

Along with a handful of different types of burgers, the ones that stand out art the Alamo Burger, Boom Boom Burger, Donut Burger, Egg Burger, Ram Burger.

My two personal favorites:
The Donut Burger is a Krispy Kreme donut sliced in half with two burger patties, cheese, and cinnamon with sides of chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

The Boom Boom Burger is a double cheeseburger with jalapenos, lettuce, onions, sour cream, swiss cheese, tomato, and a spicy chipotle “boom boom” sauce.

And of course, Popeye’s mooching buddy, Wimpy is there.

Don’t confuse this with Wimpy’s Place, 116 miles north in Lexington near Lake Huron…Wimpy Burger in Flat Rock seems to be the only one left in Michigan.
