Whole Foods will officially open their doors on April 13 in Meridian Township.  The store will begin its opening day at 8:45 a.m. with a bread breaking ceremony, the company's version of a ribbon cutting.

Doors will open to shoppers at 9 a.m.  The first 500 customers to enter the store will receive a Whole Foods gift card loaded with a mystery value of between $5 and $50, with one lucky customer receiving a $500 gift card.

The store also plans a job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at 2842 E. Grand River.  The store is in the process of hiring 120 new part time and full time employees.  Interested people should submit their resumes at wholefoodsmarket.com/careers.  The Lansing State Journal has all the details.
