Who is going to own the Christmas Tree?

Who is going to own the Christmas tree in our house?
Will it be the dog, Archie or the Cat,Julius?

Neither is giving up any ground at this point, staying as close to the tree as possible and there is no love lost between the two, so when the decorations went up last night, it was quite an exercise in animal management.  Any suggestions?
