Wear A Cardigan For Kindness Like Mr. Rodgers

Be like Mister Rodgers today and wear your cardigan for World Kindness Day.

The TV station where Mr. Rodgers filmed his children's show is asking people to wear a cardigan today. They say it would be an especially nice way to remember the late Fred Rodgers because today is the 65th anniversary of World Kindness Day.

The Pittsburgh station is asking people to wear their favorite cardigan, and to encourage others to do the same. You can even take a picture and share it on social media using #Cardiganday to help spread the kindness.

A virtual cardigan party can spread across all of our very real neighborhoods. I like to think that this simple act of slipping into a cardigan would make Mr. Rodgers very pleased. He always asked for kindness.
