WATCH: Travel Through 1949 Michigan!

Here we go...a trip through western Michigan back in 1949!

Chevrolet churned out this technicolor film featurette that was shown in movie house to entice vacationers to take their travels through Michigan.

Subtitled "Vacation Land of the Inland Seas," this "Roads To Romance film highlights the Holland Tulip Festival and Sleeping Bear Dunes...I wonder which highway they travel in this short film? Can anyone figure it out?

Anyway, it's another view at what Michigan looked like - this time in the 1940's. I bet once you watch this three-minute film, you'll wanna take a road trip...I sure do.
