The U.S. Postal Service has suspended mail service today and Thursday throughout Michigan.  That's because it's dangerously cold outside and will be for the next couple of days.

Due to the extreme weather conditions caused by the winter storm, the U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended delivery, collections and pick up services throughout the state of Michigan until Friday.

Overall, hundreds of schools are closed including Michigan State University and Lansing Community College.
