When it comes to Michigan golf courses, I'm always looking for new places to play. I've played golf at many beautiful golf courses in Michigan, including Hawk Hollow, Timber Ridge, Bucks Run, and so many more. Now I'm itching to play the new golf course in Grand Haven.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the rate is $150 for 18 holes.

That's a lot of money, but sometimes you have to pay the bigger bucks to play at the more upscale golf courses in Michigan. There are some golfers that just play the cheaper courses, and there are the ones who love the beauty and challenge of something new.

At American Dunes Golf Club, golfers will be paying $150.00 for 18 holes of golf. Is that steep? It depends on who you ask. I will play it at that price and enjoy every single hole.

Here's the best part from the Detroit Free Press:

...100% of the profits from American Dunes will be donated to Folds of Honor, the foundation Rooney created in 2007 that has provided over 29,000 scholarships totaling over $145 million for the families of deceased or disabled American service members.

This is not only going to be a great golf course to play with my buddies, it's going to honor service members and provide scholarships as well.

The Detroit Free Press tells us this:

There are a lot of nice touches that honor service members, but the most striking and solemn touch is the memorial everyone must walk through to enter the course.  It features 8-foot tall concrete walls and boot prints cast in bronze of solders killed in action.

I can't wait to play golf at American Dunes Golf Club when it opens to the public in May.
