When it comes to ghouls, goblins, and glowing jack-o'-lanterns, sign me up for all of the spooky and scary Halloween antics.

I love Halloween and everything that goes with it. October is one of my favorite months, primarily because of Halloween decorations, all the candy, all of the great costumes, and carving pumpkins to put on the front porch.

Speaking of Halloween, the Grand Rapids area will feature thousands of glowing jack-o'-lanterns beginning September 29 and running through October 30.

All the Halloween fun will take place at Millennium Park, located at 1415 Maynard Avenue in Walker, which is about 15 minutes away from downtown Grand Rapids.

According to mlive.com:

Jack O Lantern World, an exhibition of thousands of hand-carved pumpkins, is coming to Michigan for the first time this year.

What's really cool about this Halloween event is that you'll be able to walk through thousands of glowing jack-o'-lanterns carved by some of the best artists around.

Michiganders really get into the Halloween spirit throughout the month of October, and this is going to be an extra added special event to enjoy.

Mlive.com adds:

Visitors will be able to walk through a three-quarter-mile path filled with glowing jack-o’-lanterns carved by over 50 artists, according to the event’s website. The exhibit has “17 immersive worlds” of pumpkins on display, promising an “incredible walk-through” for those who visit, the website says.

By the way, the Jack O Lantern World event actually takes place in three other cities across the United States and it does very well.

The walking trail for this Halloween event takes about forty five minutes. There will be food and drinks from local food truck vendors, so please come hungry and have a fabulous time looking at all the creative glowing jack-o'-lanterns!
