The Hunger Games is Heading to the Stage
Lionsgate is taking Suzanne Collins' best-selling books series and turning it into a live stage production "using innovative and immersive staging techniques."
The stage adaptation of The Hunger Games is being developed by Tony Award-winning producer Robin De Levita and will premiere in London in the summer of 2016 in a newly constructed theater next to Wembley Stadium.
Robin says and I quote: "The theater is a fantastic medium to bring the many meaningful layers of Suzanne Collin's writing to life."
The next big screen installment of The Hunger Games franchise, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, opens worldwide November 21.
