The Better Health Store near the Frandor Shopping Center will be completing a $1 million renovation and expansion by the end of November.

An additional 3,000 feet of space will be added to the back of the store in order to double the size of its kitchen and cafe.    The frozen food section of the grocery store will be expanded while fresh meat and seafood will be added.

With the expansion, the cafe will add more sandwiches, juices and smoothie options to the menu.  LED lighting and updated refrigeration units are also being added to make the store more eco-friendly.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
