The Sleeping Bear Inn has been closed since the mid-'70s but that will be changing soon. It will soon reopen as a bed-and-breakfast lodge within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

The historic Sleeping Bear Inn in Glenn Haven, built in the 1860s, and vacant since the mid-1970s, will once again host travelers.
