Have you ever noticed those three black lines on the sides of Michigan school buses? There's a very important reason for each of them.

As you can see in the video above, there is a bus on its side, and can hear the alarms blaring outside of the Canterbury Apartments in Kalamazoo. It is alleged that the bus driver dozed off at the wheel before the crash.

Michigan schools are back in session, in person, which means there are more buses on the roads. Have people forgotten the safety laws or do they just not care?

There were 1,197 crashes involving school buses in Michigan in 2019.
