If you grew up in Michigan like I did, you know our summers are the best.

So many wonderful memories, like camping, playing outside until the porch light came on, riding my bike the entire day, sitting on the curb popping tar bubbles, the sound of the sprinkler (one of my favorite sounds), and the smell of freshly mowed grass.

We also spent so much time going up north to Higgins Lake, playing volleyball in the lake, and learning to water ski. It was a pretty great childhood.

Yesterday kind of took me back in time as I was sitting there and listening to the sound of the sprinkler...so relaxing. It got me thinking about my summer memories, so I thought I'd share a few with all of you. Hopefully this sparks some happy memories for you as well. Now that you're thinking about it, what's your favorite part of Michigan summers?
