Many students across Michigan are getting closer to the start of summer break.  But the question now is when will that vacation begin?

According to WILX-News 10, Your Breaking News and Weather Authority, dozens of schools in Michigan will have to make up some days because the schools ran out of snow days earlier this year.

The Michigan Legislature is working on different snow day forgiveness plans before school lets out.

Under Michigan law, schools get six snow days automatically.  Schools get an additional three days if they request a waiver from the state Department of Education.

State lawmakers say final action on a snow day forgiveness plan could come before the end of April.  Click on the above link for more information.
