Sparrow Will Increase COVID Vaccine Distribution at New Indoor Site

According to WILX:

A new indoor vaccination site will allow Sparrow to safely provide up to 3,000 COVID-19 vaccines a day to Mid-Michigan residents.  That is three times as many as possible in Sparrow's drive-thru location.

With the COVID-19 numbers so high in Michigan, it's so important that everyone gets their COVID-19 vaccinations as soon as possible.

Every time I drive by the old Sears building in Lansing, I see so many cars lined up waiting to get vaccinated.  Sparrow Laboratories have had that drive-thru clinic set up for quite some time now.

WILX adds that vaccinations are now available inside the old Sears building:

'The increased availability of vaccines exceeds what we can handle at the drive-thru site and necessitates this change,' said Sparrow Health System spokesman John Foren. 'This will allow us to better fulfill our mandate to vaccinate as many people in the community as possible and protect the health and safety of Mid-Michigan residents.'

As more and more people go online to set up their appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine, this is a convenient place to get your shots.  They will continue to have seven lanes open for testing and now you can get your vaccine shots not only outside but inside at the Sears building.

Just over this past weekend, there were 7,000 more Michiganders diagnosed with COVID-19 and that was just on Saturday alone.  Do your best to make sure everyone in your family gets vaccinated soon.
